Caleb Pourchot
Managing Partner and Creator of Landscape
Caleb is the Managing Partner of Dendroyka, LLC, maker of Landscape. Caleb worked at Groundswell Conservancy in Madison, WI for nearly a decade helping permanently protect some of the great places in south-central Wisconsin. Before joining the land trust community, Caleb was a software development executive for a division of Sony and hometown startup hero, Sonic Foundry.
Michael Madole
Partner
Michael is a Partner at Dendroyka LLC. He came to Landscape from the Trustees of Reservations, where he helped modernize their easement stewardship program, which oversees the largest private portfolio of easements in Massachusetts. Before that, Michael served as an Americorps land steward at a small regional land trust in Western Massachusetts. When Michael’s not helping onboard new clients, writing knowledge base articles, or responding to tech support questions, he can be found in the woods with his horse Hazel practicing low impact forestry as Hilltown Horse Logging. He also serves on the board of Hilltown Land Trust.
Dan Ford
Product Designer
Dan is the Product Designer for Landscape. Previously, Dan worked at a regional land trust, Heritage Conservancy, where he focused on leveraging technology for property acquisition and stewardship. He built his knowledge in conservation and tech while working in environmental consulting, geospatial technology, and software development for environmental nonprofits. Dan is passionate about both scalable and local conservation solutions – in addition to working for Landscape, he serves on his local Environmental Advisory Council.

What's with all the birds?
We really like birds and Caleb is a recovering bird lister. Our company name, Dendroyka, is a more phonetic spelling (in Caleb’s opinion) of Dendroica – a now defunct genus of Wood Warblers (e.g. Dendroica fusca) that you’ll only find in older field guides.
