We’re so grateful for another year working with mission-driven organizations who focus on conservation every day.
In that spirit, we’d like to share updates about how we plan to help you in the coming year and stats about some of the work that you have accomplished this year.
A year in review
This year has been defined by the release of a new version of Landscape. We redesigned the web app, made improvements to performance, and added new features.
To date, we’ve migrated 155 organizations and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Thank you for contributing your ideas – we were able to add or improve many features based on user feedback.
If you are a current Landscape user and you have not yet upgraded to the most recent version of Landscape, you should contact your organization administrator, who can reach out to support with any questions about migrating the account. All accounts will need to be migrated to the most recent version of Landscape by March 1, 2024.
While we were working hard to support you in your mission, you got an amazing amount of work done yourselves!
You protected 624 new properties, conserving 137,211 new acres. That’s 314 square miles! An area a bit bigger than New York City.
You completed 34,477 site visits and spent 448,574 personnel hours performing site visits on your properties. That’s 51 years of personnel time.
You uploaded 296,957 photos. If each of these was one frame in a movie, it would be 206 hours long. And get a horrible score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Recent releases
We added dozens of new features to Landscape this year. Here are a some of the most recent highlights:

More to come
In 2024, we’re looking forward to continuing to focus on making your work more efficient, accurate, and organized by adding and enhancing features.
We also plan to provide users with more resources by adding articles and videos to the knowledge base.
We are so proud to be a part of this community and to assist in your missions. Thank you for the work you do, and for being genuinely the nicest customers around.
