Landscape Welcomes New Team Member

Alison Miller, Landscape

In April we welcomed Alison Miller to the Landscape Team!

Alison grew up with fond memories of camping in the mountains of New England, loving the wilderness so much that she spent part of high school in an outdoor leadership program far from home and intentionally chose a college in a remote setting. After graduating from St. Lawrence University, she spent many years working in the legal industry on everything from Social Security to Amazon, and went back to school to earn her MBA; but something was always missing, and finally, Alison felt compelled to make a positive impact with her work through her connection to nature. So before joining the Landscape Team, Alison brought her years of database and operations experience to her regional land trust – Upstate Forever – where she helped design and codify their use of Landscape as well as to implement SOPs and automation across the organization. Her specialty was using data visualization to ‘tell stories.’

Now, Alison is excited to help other conservation organizations level up their project management and data-driven decision making with Landscape!

In her spare time, Alison enjoys learning new languages, traveling with her family, paddleboarding, and skiing (or just about any other outdoor activity).
